General FAQ
We ship overnight in an insulated box with dry ice and gel packs to arrive frozen.
We ship frozen orders overnight on Mondays and Tuesdays. Orders placed later than noon on Tuesday will be held until the following week and shipped on Monday. We do not ship any frozen orders Wed - Fri because we don’t want them to be delayed by UPS and held over the weekend. Non-frozen orders are shipped Mon, Tues and Thursday and are sent via USPS flat rate, which usually takes 3 days, sometimes 4.
On the day it ships, you will receive an email with a tracking link.
We pack the boxes with enough coolant to sit on your porch until evening...but don't let it sit overnight.
Most of our fish is frozen. We cut, vacuum-sealed, and freeze at -20 degrees for premium sushi quality. Our custom processing facility (60 North Seafoods) is located right at the source in Cordova Alaska, so fish can be processed immediately after catching. For the last two weeks of May only, we offer FRESH (never frozen) Copper River salmon by pre-order.
We pack with care and extra coolant to arrive frozen…however if UPS delivers late and it arrives defrosted, we offer ShipAid (extra insurance available at checkout) to replace your order for free because UPS does not cover products that have defrosted due to late delivery.
Every box comes with a handling card to explain how to defrost and cook it. Plus, recipe cards for inspiration. We also have lots of guides and recipes on our blog.
Most products are available for subscription (recurring order), just look for the "subscribe and save" option above the price. Choose your preferred number of portions and desired frequency. Don't worry, our subscriptions are flexible- the ship dates, quantities, and even types of fish can be easily adjusted or canceled anytime.
I highly recommend our seasonal variety box.You choose the box size and delivery frequency, we deliver what's in season and available at the peak of abundance.
